There are several cosy hotels along the routes of Norway’s most popular round trips and we recommend a stop. Many of the hotels have great meeting and conference facilities. See examples of places to stop below.

On the Norway in a nutshell® tour, you can stop in Flåm, Gudvangen, Stalheim, Voss or Bergen. If you wish to organise meetings en route, we recommend Flåmsbrygga or Fretheim Hotel in Flåm, Stalheim Hotel in Stalheim or Fleischer's Hotel in Voss. For those coming from Eastern Norway who need to spend a night in Bergen, we recommend Hotel Grand Terminus. This hotel has meeting facilities and it is located right beside the railway station, making it the obvious choice as the tour either starts or ends with a train ride.

On the Sognefjord in a nutshell tour, the best options are in Flåm, Balestrand or in Bergen for those arriving from Eastern Norway. For meetings and conferences, we recommend Flåmsbrygga or Fretheim Hotel in Flåm and historic Kviknes Hotel in Balestrand. If you return by boat from the Sognefjord to Strankaiterminalen quay in Bergen, Augustin Hotel is in easy walking distance. Here you can spend a night and the hotel also has meeting facilities.

Most groups travelling on the Hardangerfjord in a nutshell tour do it as a daytrip from Bergen. It is also possible to combine the tour with overnight stays and meetings in Voss or in Hardanger. In Voss we cooperate with Fleischer's Hotel and in Hardanger you can stay overnight in Eidfjord or by the Vøringsfoss waterfall. The boat on the Hardangerfjord can also stop at Hotel Ullensvang in Lofthus. The hotel is located beside the fjord and has great accommodation, and facilities for meetings and activities.

Along the Rallarvegen (the Navvies’ Road), you have several options for spending the night and holding meetings. If you are coming from the east you can stay in Geilo and continue by train to Haugastøl or Finse, depending on where you plan to start your cycling trip. In Finse, you can stay at the Finse1222 hotel and admire the beautiful mountain scenery from the conference room. Further on along the route, you can also hold meetings at Vatnahalsen Høyfjellshotel in Myrdal or at the end of the cycling trip at Flåmsbrygga or Fretheim Hotel in Flåm. Fjord Tours’ group office offers overnight accommodation at several hotels in Geilo, at the Haugastøl Turistsenter, the Finsehytta and the Finse1222 hotel in Finse, at Vatnahalsen Høyfjellshotel and in Flåmsbrygga or Fretheim Hotel in Flåm.

The season for cycling the Rallarvegen is short and intense, and it is very popular at weekends from mid-August until mid-September. Please book your tour and hotels early. A number of groups have already booked for 2014!
