Village with an unique architecture


Nesflaten is a small village in Suldal, Rogaland and located north of lake Suldalsvatnet.

Nesflaten experienced a boom during the 1960s when the hydro-plant Røldal-Suldal kraft was build.  A result of this is the distinctive houses build in Nesflaten back in the 60s to acommodate workers at the Hydro-plant. Famed norwegian architect Geir Grung drawn the houses and the hydro-plan in his distinctive style.
