  • Route:

One of the worlds most beautiful mountain landscapes and the wild coastal scenery. Experience Lofoten, Andøya and Senja on the road between Bodø and Tromsø.

Lofoten is known worldwide for the mountains that violently rise up from the sea. The whole journey between Bodø and Tromsø is characterized by arctic nature at its most beautiful.

We suggest a route along the coast through Lofoten, Andøya and Senja. The route includes a ferry ride between Andenes and Gryllefjord. Lonely Planet has dubbed this landscape reaching far out into the sea, as one of the most beautiful places in the whole of Norway. The wild sea, charming small fishing villages, beaches and of course the unique light. In the summer, the sun never sets. In the winter, you might be lucky and see the Northern Lights. In other words, this route offers something all year.

The drive we suggest provides highlights the entire way, and most of the route travels along the national tourist road in Lofoten. There are many backroads and possibilities for detours along the way, to places such as Nusfjord and Henningsvær. Several places offers wonderful walks and nature experiences.
