Travel route:
- Bergen - Voss: 101 km, 1 hr 40 min. From Bergen, drive the E 16 road to Voss
- Voss - Vik: 73.5 km, 1 hr 20 min. Continue on the E 16 across the Vikafjell mountains, turning onto the RV 13 to Vik
- Vik - Balestrand: 34 km, 1 hr. Take the RV 13 to Vangsnes, from where you take the ferry to Balestrand
- Balestrand - Sogndal: 48 km, 1 hr 10 min. From Balestrand, you drive to Dragsvik and take the ferry to Hella and the RV 55 to Sogndal
- Sogndal - Lærdal: km, 1 hr 5 min. From Sogndal, you take the RV 53 to Lærdal
- Lærdal - Flåm: 42 km, 45 min. From Lærdal, you drive to Flåm on the E 16 and then on to Gudvangen
- Gudvangen - Voss: 47 km, 50 min. From Gudvangen, continue on the E 16 to Voss, then drive to Bergen
