Hotel history

The Clarion Collection Hotel Grand Olav was built in 1989 and is next door to Trondheim's large concert hall Olavshallen, Trondheim's own cultural centre. This neighbour of ours has made our hotel a popular place to stay for many musicians and artists. From local heroes such as Mia Gundersen, Postgirobygget and Åge Alexandersen to internationally acclaimed artists such as Pavarotti.
