Fjærland Fjordstove Hotell

Fjærland Fjordstove Hotell & Restaurant is a quaint and friendly place. Open from April-October, we are situated in Fjærland, on an upper branch of Western Norway's' spectacular Sognefjord.

Fjærland is a small farming town that comes to life in the summer when visitors from all over the world pass through to walk the glacier, climb the mountains, enjoy the scenery and wander through the book town.

Being so close to an incredible bounty of local produce we have endeavored to make food a big part of our hospitality. We serve breakfast, lunch and dinner daily during the summer season.

The restaurant at Fjærland Fjordstove Hotell is our way of celebrating and sharing, through food and dining, the beautiful and giving landscape and community that surrounds us. The hotel restaurant has been known for great food and has become very popular in the area.

Set on the spectacular Sognefjord, Fjærland is both beautiful and lively with plenty of things to do. You can stroll though the idyllic village and book town, hike the many mountains, visit the Glacier Museum or cross the glacier, just to name a few.

Fjærland Fjordstove Hotell also offers a range of different boating activities. You can hire a row boat, go on a personal fishing trip, take a guided boat tour of the isolated and historic farming villages along the fjord, or go kayaking.

Please speak to us upon arrival if you are interested in any of these activities, and we will happily organize it for you. Please also let us know if you arrive with bus to Fjærland. We will be happy to arrange pickups at the bus stop!
