The Floating Sauna Experience

A ticket to the Floating Sauna in the Oslofjord gives you access to a shared sauna, which is a fantastic way to talk to and meet the locals. You can cool yourself down in the fjord and heat yourself up in the sauna, all while enjoying a friendly and relaxed atmosphere in the company of the local Oslonians. The sauna is located in central Oslo at Sukkerbiten, less than a 10-minute walk from Oslo Central Station.

The Oslo Sauna Association is a non-profit organization that was formed in 2016 by anarchists and diplomats from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ ice bathing club. It all started with a sauna raft called Måken (The Seagull), which was built out of driftwood found in Bjørvika. Since then, the popularity of saunas in the Oslofjord has increased considerably! Come for yourself and find out what all the buzz is about!

Enjoy a hot and cold experience in Oslo!
