With a fall of 182 metres, the water in Vøringsfossen cascades down from the the Hardangervidda mountain plateau down into the Måbødalen valley. This waterfall is considered to be one of the most beautiful in Hardanger and is a popular place to visit in the Hardangerfjord region.
