Hotel Aak is the adventure Hotel of The Fjords, situated in Romsdalen - the mountain capital of Norway. It was the first tourist hotel in the Norwegian countryside when established back in 1860. At Hotel Aak, we believe in three primary needs to give you an unforgettable stay: flawless food, good beds and outdoor adventures.
Today Kristine and Odd Erik Rønning run the resort, and work hard to preserve the historic character and recreate the atmosphere of the 19th century hotel within a modern framework. Parts of the hotel was recently renovated to a modern, Scandinavian style, but still with a nod to the past.
The Hotel, with a combination of its history, staff and adventurous guests, offers a truly unique atmosphere. It feels like home, and gives you a sense of peace and silence. This is a place where you can relax and enjoy the surroundings.
