The hotel has 170 rooms and one of the best hotel views Norway has to offer. Here you get a panoramic view of fjords, the Folgefonna glacier, and the bloomimg Hardanger. With landscapes that can literally lull you to sleep.

The hotel's main food focus is Norwegian ingredients with an international touch. With a constantly changing and homemade menu, the hotel prepares food for up to 300 guests every night. In addition to the main dining room, the hotel has two smaller dining rooms – Komponisten (Grieg's dining room), and the Meterologen (Cabinet Minister Nils Hertzberg's dining room), which increases the capacity to 420 guests in total.
