One way trip Oslo - Bergen

Day 1: Oslo  - Voss

On the first day of your tour you travel from Oslo to Voss with the scenic Bergen Railway, riding through various landscape and stunning scenery. Check in at your hotel in Voss and get ready to explore the area. Does a hiking tour to Kiellandsbu sound tempting? Maybe you are a bit "wild" and want to fly in a wind tunnel? This is only a few of the great things you can do in Voss.

Day 2: Voss - Eidfjord

The next day you continue the trip to the Queen of the Norwegian fjords, The Hardangerfjord. You travel by bus to Ulvik where you enter the fjord cruise boat on the Hardangerfjord  to Eidfjord.

In Eidfjord you get on the sightseeing trip to the Norwegian Nature Centre and the powerful Vøringfoss Waterfall. With a fall of 182 metres, the water in Vøringsfossen cascades down from the the Hardangervidda mountain plateau down into the Måbødalen valley. It is quite a sight! Back in Eidfjord after the sightseeing trip, you check in at your hotel and can enjoy a meal in one of the local restaurants overlooking the beautiful Hardangerfjord.

Day 3: Eidfjord - Bergen

After a delicious breakfast at the hotel, you can join in on a kayak- or RIB boat tour on the Hardangerfjord. Feel the fresh sea air in your face and get close to the fjord on the many water activites in Eidfjord before you continue on the tour to Bergen.

The fjord cruise from Eidfjord on the Hardangerfjord, with its many scenic gems; fjords, mountains, waterfalls, glaciers and orchards, is really a breathtaking experience! Arriving Norheimsund you continue to Bergen by bus over the mountain plateau " Kvamskogen" where many Norwegians go skiing in the winter season.

Arriving Bergen in late afternoon, you check in at your hotel. A great thing to do in the evening is to go on the "Begren by night - segway tour" to Mount Fløyen and see the sun set over the city. The sight will enchant you!

Spend a couple of days in Bergen to explore this charming and exciting coastal city. You will not regret it!

Food on the tour

There are no meals included in the tour package, but no worries, there are plenty of options for you to get a "bite" during the tour. On board on the train from Oslo to Voss there is a cafeteria section where you can buy small dishes of hot and cold food, snacks and drinks. They also have vegetarian options.

In Eidfjord, you will have time to get a light meal at the Norwegian Nature Center. There will also be possible to buy some snacks and drinks on the fjord cruise boat on the Hardangerfjord.
