From November to December, orcas, humpback whales, and other whale species gather in the fjords near Alta for a grand herring feast.
But the experience doesn't stop there. The area is also home to Arctic dolphins, the majestic sea eagle with an impressive wingspan of up to 2.5 meters, and a variety of seabird species.
Tour description
Your guide will pick you up in Alta, and together you’ll drive to the boat that will take you out on the Altafjord. The tour takes place on a comfortable 18-meter boat with a maximum capacity of 30 passengers.
Led by the captain and experienced guides, you’ll embark on this adventure with safety and expertise. During the boat ride to the whale-watching hot spots, and while the whales are diving, you can relax inside the warm cabin, enjoying hot chocolate and snacks.
