The over 100 year old hotel Finse 1222 is located on Finse Station, the highest point on the Bergen Railway.

The hotel is a fantastic starting point for trips surrounded by the national parks Hallingskarvet and Hardangervidda. This is very popular hiking areas and the ski season lasts until late May. The Old Navvy Road passing Finse has become one of Norways' most popular biking routes. A tour on the Old Navvy Road offers a journey through Norwegian culture, history and nature.

The hotel is a member of the hotel chain De Historiske - historic hotels & restaurants and has 43 rooms and 112 beds. The Restaurant, fireplace room and common areas have stunning views to the raw nature right outside. The bakery provides fresh bread and other delicious baked goods.
