Family Rafting in Voss

This family rafting tour is perfect for families or groups with under 15-years old. Also a great activity for those who consider the class 3/4 rafting a bit too scary.

On the tour you use large, steady rafts or small 2-man Duckies, for those who want somewhat more of a challenge. Parents can even send kids off on adventures alone or join in on the fun!

In any case, this is an exciting activity for the whole family - we promise a lot of water and fun for everyone!

The Viking Village in Gudvangen takes you back a thousand years in time! A perfect place to spend a day with the whole family!

Here you can understand who the Vikings were and where they came from. You can learn about what it was really like to be a Viking and experience for yourself a Viking community.

There are loads of different activities in the Viking Village throughout the year. Note that activities in the park differs during the week and according to the weather conditions, but all activities will be announced at the entrance every morning.

Mini & micro courses - Voss High Ropes & Zipline park

Voss High Ropes & Zipline Course is all about personal challenge and discovery! In the mini & micro course you make your way through the climbing and balancing elements in a fun and safe way.

Voss High Ropes & Zip-line course is located in scenic surroundings by the Stranda river in Åsbrekkegjellet. The climbing park has 4 mini climbing trails, 2 large climbing trails and 1 zip-line trail with a total of 60 different climbing, balancing and zip-line elements. The different trails are varied, fun and challenging for all ages.

If you’ve never tried climbing before, The Norwegian Mountaineering Centre in Åndalsnes has the perfect way to try it!

Learn to climb at the indoor climbing wall at the Norwegian Mountaineering Centre with experienced instructors looking after you. With climbs set to suit all levels of experience and ability, this is an experience suitable for all. Perfect and fun for adults and children alike.

Dog sledding in Lyngsfjord, Tromsø

Go on a dog sledding trip into white winter landscapes, through beautiful wilderness. After your trip you can relax with a hot meal served in the traditional Sami herdsmen’s tent!

This experience is suitable for children and adults alike, as well as being an amazing and unique adventure. You start this activity by saying hello to a bunch of barking (but still very friendly) huskies that are ready for action.

You will get instructions on how to drive a dog sledding team and parents and children can share a sled. The whole experience is topped off with a hot meal served in the traditional Sami herdsmen’s tent.

Hike and fjord safari to Leim goat farm

Take the kids hiking and let them meet som friendly goats! A great activity for families with children from 6 years.

This activity includes a fjord safari by RIB-boat on the Aurlandsfjord and the Nærøyfjord, as well as a hiking trip from Skjerdal up to the Leim mountain farm. Here the kids can meet the goats and you all get to enjoy a lunch with goat cheese and a main course from local produce. An experienced guide will be with you.

Bergen Funicular Fløyen

Take the Funicular up on the top of Mount Fløyen and get an magificient view over the city between the 7 mountains!

A ride on the funicular is an adventure itself! It takes approx. 5 minutes from the city center and brings you to Mount Fløyen (320 m above sea level). At Fløyen you will find a beautiful natural setting, ideal for shorter and longer hiking trips.

Marked trails and a hiking maps are available and a two-hour guided tour organized in the period from June to August. You can also enjoy folk music concerts on the top from June to August. Children under 4 yrs. can take the Funicular for free.
