About Fjord Tours

Fjord Tours, founded in 1982, offers package tours, activities and hotels throughout Norway on both the Norwegian and international market. Our office is in Bergen.

Quick facts

Our best known products are Norway in a nutshell® - Norway’s most popular round trip and the Fjord Pass® - Norway’s most extensive discount pass. The Fjord Pass offers discount and over 100 activities all over Norway.

Our tours takes in some of the most popular tourist attractions in Norway. On our various round trips, you can combine a relaxing train journey with a bus and boat trip in beautiful fjord and mountain scenery. Along the way you can add overnight stays in exciting locations and join in on lots of varied activities.

Our round trips are based on public transport such as trains, boats and buses, and we endeavour to ensure that they correspond in our timetables. There are no Fjord Tours guides/tour managers on the tours, which are primarily designed for people traveling on their own. We can also organize customized tours for groups on request.

Fjord Tours has since November 2010 been a certified "Miljøfyrtårn" or Eco-Lighthouse company. This is a Norwegian eco-certification given to companies that have a strong environmental, or "green", strategy and focuses on taking care of the environment in all the company's daily operations.

Eco-Lighthouse is Norway’s most widely used certification scheme for enterprises seeking to document their environmental efforts and demonstrate social responsibility.
