Route change may occur

When weather or ice prevents the full route between Flåm and Gudvangen, route changes may happen at short notice. In that case, the boat will run a return trip from Flåm, with a connecting bus between Gudvangen and Flåm.
The alternative route sail from Flåm as far as conditions safely allow, bringing you deep into one of Norway's narrowest and most dramatic fjords. After reaching the furthest safe point, you return to Flåm.

If your booking is from Flåm:
  • Fjord Cruise round trip Flåm-Flåm: 09:30 or 14:45 (1.5 hours)
  • Buses to Gudvangen depart after cruise arrival: 11:05/16:20
If your booking is from Gudvangen:
  • Bus to Flåm: 11:30 from bus stop H (20 min)
  • Fjord Cruise round trip Flåm-Flåm: 12:00 (2 hours)

This adapted route still captures the heart of the fjord experience: dramatic UNESCO scenery, pure winter magic, and an intimate journey through landscapes shaped by Norwegian winter.
