The Bergen Railway: You get to Bergen by taking a comfortable train ride through the diverse mountain and fjord landscape.
Bergen is known as the city between the seven mountains and the gateway to the fjords. The city was founded almost a thousand years ago in 1070 by Olav Kyrre. This is the urban hub of Western Norway, and Bergen offers activities and enjoyment for all. A minimum of one overnight stay is required in Bergen, but we highly recommend two overnight stays here. This will give you time to explore and get to know one of the country's most beautiful and historic cities!

This mighty waterfall has a drop of 182 meters and is flanked by several stunning lookout points. The lookout points are innovatively designed to let you feel the power of the cascading waters. And if you dare - you can even cross the waterfall on a bridge!
On your way to the Vøringsfossen waterfall, you stop by the Norwegian Nature Centre Hardanger. This is an exciting experience center for Norwegian nature, climate, and environment. It is also a great place to have a quick lunch break.
