Ulvik

Ulvik is the main village in Ulvik herad, situated at the north end of the Ulvikafjord, an arm of the Hardangerfjord.

Ulvik is surrounded by high mountains, and the mountains facing the fjords have spectacular steep faces. Ulvik connects to the high mountain regions in Hol and Aurland, and offers excellent opportunities for long hikes in summer/autumn and cross-country skiing in winter.

Ulvik Tourist Information is open all year and can provide guides and guided trips. It also offers other services such as ticket sales and information about Hardanger, timetables and prices.
