The Trollfjord is, despite its name, a short fjord (2 km), but famous for its dramatic history and surrounding landscape. It was the scene of a dramatic battle between the first steam-powered fishing ships and the traditional open-boat fishermen, in 1890.

Departing from Svolvær harbor in the morning, we set out for the fascinating Trollfjord. Our friendly crew will share their knowledge about the wildlife, landscape, and history of the resilient communities that live in this epic coastal landscape.

We’ll spend some time in Trollfjord, exploring as, above us, white-tailed eagles soar against the backdrop of steep mountains. Onboard you can purchase warm drinks, alcoholic beverages, warm lunch, sandwiches, and pastry while enjoying the views.
