Tour description

Your tour starts with a 20-minute introduction to paddling techniques and safety.
You'll paddle down Nidelven river through the heart of Trondheim, gliding past colorful old warehouses that line the riverbanks. Your guide shares stories about the medieval Nidaros Cathedral as you pass by, then guides you along the harbor channels to see parts of the city hidden from usual walking routes. The tour ends at Skansen after 2 hours on the water.
By the end of your journey, you'll have seen Trondheim's most beautiful landmarks from a unique water perspective. The combination of gentle paddling and city exploration creates memories that go beyond typical sightseeing.
This tour works well for travelers who want active sightseeing, photography and history lovers interested in seeing architecture from the water. No previous kayaking experience is needed - your instructor provides all guidance. Singles paddle in single kayaks, while pairs share stable double kayaks.
