Packrafts are very easy to learn. They are light, stable, forgiving and handle whitewater with ease. Packrafts are easier to handle than river kayaks or canoes, which makes them even more fun!
Your guide will meet you outside at Tre Brør Kafé and Bar in Voss town square, and you´ll drive to the starting point of the river. Here your guide will gear you up with wetsuits and/or drysuits, helmets, lifejackets, paddles and packrafts.
The qualified and experienced guide will safely lead you down the river, giving you personal insight into the history of this protected river. You will learn basic river and safety skills which will allow you to understand the river more and how to use moving water and the river's features to help you. You will enjoy bouncing down some long wave trains, tight boulder gardens and small rapids along the way.
During the ride, you will make a short stop at a serene and secluded beach to enjoy a locally crafted meal before you return back to Voss.
This packrafting trip is best described as personal, engaging and fun! It is a non-technical and family-friendly experience suitable for everyone with the desire to get on the river and try something new.
