Tour description

This adventure starts in Flåm where you and your guide take a short ride by minibus to the hike's starting point, where the real snowshoe adventure begins!
During the tour, you can enjoy the amazing view and experience how it is to hike on these traditional snowshoes. Your guide will of course give you instructions on how to walk comfortably in snowshoes, as well as share stories about the unique local culture and nature. At the turning point of the trip, you will be served hot drinks, and you have the opportunity to feel the unique tranquility of the beautiful winter nature. 
Before you return to Flåm, there will be a stop at the famous Stegastein viewpoint. Here, you will have time to take pictures and enjoy the magnificent view of the winter fjord landscape.
After a fresh winter day outside, you continue your evening in cozy surroundings at the Ægir BrewPub. Here, you can relax in front of the tall fireplace and enjoy a 5-course Vikingplank dinner in the upstairs restaurant.
You will be served 5 different locally produced beers for your meal, one to accompany each dish. There is of course a Vikingplank menu for children with non-alcoholic beverages, and alcohol-free options are also available.
Please Note: Changing weather conditions and unexpected warm periods may lead to reduced snowfall or bare ground in some areas, potentially converting our planned snow excursion into a hiking experience.
