Tour description

The trip starts outside Backstube Opera, in front of the cafe, in central Oslo where you'll meet up with your guide for the day. From here you'll hop on the scenic Frognerseteren metro line with breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. As you reach the Frognerseteren station, you will be greeted by beautiful panoramic views.
From Frognerseter the leisurely hike starts. We will walk through the glorious green forest and along mysterious small lakes that are said to be inhabited by the mystical creature Huldra. After wander over the picturesque Fuglemyrene we reach the DNT Fuglemyrhytta - a small cabin that offers a cozy spot to relax and take in the views.
After a small break here, your adventure will continue through the forest to the most spectacular spot of the journey – the summit of Vettakollen mountain offering overwhelming views of the city and the Oslofjord. From here, you can feast your eyes on large parts of Oslo, the Oslofjord, and its serene coastline, dotted with numerous small islands. Take in the crisp fresh air and capture this moment with unforgettable photographs.
After enjoying the view, we will stroll down to the metro station and finish our trip at Jernbanetorget.
