Tour description

You start this tour from the boat port in downtown Oslo and cycle on comfortable hybrid bikes to the pedestrianized City Hall Square, the site of the annual Nobel Peace Prize ceremony. From here, you enjoy an easy ride along the car-free paths of the Oslofjord, admiring sweeping views over the city's harbor, islands, and surrounding hills.
The tour continues to the medieval and renaissance castle of Akershus Fortress, where you can hop of your bike for a brief walk along the ramparts. After a short sightseeing of this impressive fortress, you ride down Karl Johans Gate, the most famous boulevard in Norway, visiting the Parliament, the National Theater, the University, and at the end of the boulevard, the Royal Palace.
After a charming downhill ride through the Royal Palace gardens, you cycle through the beautiful neo-classical neighborhood of Frogner, making your way to the world-famous Vigeland Sculpture Park to marvel at the marble!
You finish with a long downhill ride to Oslo Fjord to visit a hidden jewel of a building built over the fjord. A final ride through the urban shopping district of Aker Brygge brings you back to your starting point with a good overview of the sights and attractions of our nation's capital!
The leisurely tour is suitable for all fitness levels and ages, with plenty of stops for photos and visits to the main tourist attractions.
Have a great ride!
