Tour description

The tour departs from bus stop A/B near Flåm railway station. Note that the order of stops may vary — your driver will let you know at the start of the tour.
Stalheimskleivi
The tour takes you to Stalheim Hotel and Stalheimskleivi through the narrow and impressive valley Nærøydalen with high, steep mountains that rise up on both sides. The view from the hotel garden has inspired Norwegian painters for over 150 years. From here, you walk down Stalheimskleivi — a 250-meter descent, taking around 30 minutes. The path passes two waterfalls, Sivlefossen and Stalheimsfossen, with a close-up view of Sivlefossen along the way. Wear comfortable walking shoes, as the path is steep in places.
The Viking Valley – Njardarheimr
The tour includes a 60-minute stop in the Viking Valley Gudvangen, where you´ll explore a living Norse village. Walk among traditional wooden buildings, meet Vikings in period clothing, and learn about the customs and skills that shaped Norse culture over 1,000 years ago.
Undredal
After the Viking experience, you continue to Undredal, a charming fjord village of fewer than 60 inhabitants. It's known for its award-winning goat cheese and a stave church— the smallest still in use in Scandinavia. Browse the local store for regional products, and look out for goat cheese ice cream and chocolate.
After a 30-minute visit, the bus returns to Flåm.
